About
Founded in 1989, FXW has become one of the most sought-after schools in the city with two beautiful campuses. Old St. Patrick’s Campus (OSP) is located in the West Loop. Nearly 500 students in Preschool through Grade 3 begin their FXW journey at OSP. Holy Name Cathedral Campus (HNC) is located in the heart of downtown with more than 400 students in Grades 4-8.

The Frances Xavier Warde School uses a rigorous curriculum that enables all its students to grow, clarify their values, and develop decision-making skills and a sense of responsibility for themselves and the world they will inherit. As a keystone of its diverse community, The School provides need-based scholarships to 30 percent of its students.

Mother’s Day Luncheon 2025

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is excited to invite you to attend one of FXW’s great traditions, The Mother’s Day Luncheon, which will be held Wednesday, May 7 at 625 W. Adams. This wonderful event celebrates the mothers and mother figures of our community for a special day of food, community and storytelling.
