Johara Farhadieh

Johara Farhadieh, mother of Emile (Grade 2) and Rafael (Kindergarten), is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Wespath Benefits and Investments, overseeing a $26 billion fund. She is set to become Chief Investment Officer in August 2024. Previously, Johara served as Executive Director & Chief Investment Officer at the Illinois State Board of Investment, managing a $24 billion fund. She holds an MBA with a focus on Finance/Investments from DePaul University, where she was honored in the Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society. Johara is an active advocate for diversity in the investment community and serves on several boards, including La Rabida Hospital and the Renaissance Insurance Company.
