What would you like prospective students to know about your FXW experience?

My experience at FXW has been both significant and beneficial in providing me with the fundamental information that is needed to build a child’s character, knowledge, and understanding. I have always felt included and safe at FXW, and I have never failed to notice the steps to make sure I felt safe. Seeing my teachers and friends in the hallways always put a smile on my face, and the positive energy that filled the air when I walked into a school was palpable. FXW is so diverse, being home to many different religions, cultures, and backgrounds, and I am forever thankful to have made lifelong friends and memories here.

What is your favorite part of FXW?

My favorite part of FXW are the people who make the school what it is today. Never have I been to a school that has paid so much attention to their students in making sure that their stay at FXW is one to be remembered. I am able to laugh with my friends and feel comfortable opening up to them – and staff as well! I’ve always thought of FXW as a second home for many reasons, the main reason being the welcoming atmosphere. I’ve been able to recognize the fact that every teacher there wants only the best for their students and will set you up for greatness.

What has been your favorite memory from your time at FXW?

The best memory that I have from my time spent at FXW would be in the 6th grade when we took an overnight trip to Milwaukee. It would be the first of three out-of-state grade trips to come, so I really didn’t know what to expect. By the end it was one of the most fun times of my life! I loved being there. We got to go to the museum, aquarium, and zoo. Spending this time away from school with my classmates was special. We had lots of fun while still learning along the way.
