What would you like prospective students to know about your FXW experience?
FXW has challenged me academically with tests, exams, speeches, and essays along the way. But with FXW’s help and support, I came into the eighth grade with my organizational skills developed, some solid core values, and feeling prepared for whatever’s next. FXW is a reliable, safe, welcoming, and accepting school, and I really hope I can share this community with future students. Every single teacher and administrator in the FXW community has helped make me a better student and person.
What is your favorite part of FXW?
My favorite part of FXW has been the field trips and educational trips that we take as well as the assemblies and Masses we participate in. Another of my favorite things is the community that you’re surrounded in. As soon as I walked through the doors of the preschool hallway, I immediately felt the warmth and diversity of FXW. My first two teachers, Mrs. Albring and Miss Cardenas, were two of the best teachers I’ve ever had. When I arrived at school each year, I sensed in my heart it was going to a great school year because of my teachers and the community.
What has been your favorite memory from your time at FXW?
My fondest memory of FXW was the End of Year assembly a few years ago. I got to pump up some beach balls used in a large-scale beach ball toss during the assembly where we threw the balls and crowd members would hit them as hard as they could while others in the crowd would hit them back. This is my fondest memory because me and one of my friends got to blow them up, and not only was it an immense amount of fun, but it was really cool to see my contribution be put into action and see how much my small deed did for so many kids. This also just shows how much FXW does for its children and community, and how many lives they change. Thank you FXW!
